Heart Healing
How Heart Healing works
Heart Healing uses a range of modalities and inner healing tools to process distressing events and trauma.
Heart Healing gently navigates areas where the heart feels locked, stuck, or triggers the amygdala and nervous system into acute feelings of being unsafe and disconnected. The process includes understanding the maladaptive survival strategies while integrating the fractured parts of the heart: The Guardian, Emotion and Function.
The journey involves the heart being:
-
Heard and Held
-
Seen, Soothed, and feeling Safe
-
Experiencing rest and freedom by having a new role.
This process can include a few approaches; its main objective is to integrate the primary parts of the heart in sync with its original design.
The identity focus is on the client understanding the truth of who they are without the lies they believed about themselves. The foundational principle is that a person behaves according to what they believe. When the narrative and beliefs change, new behaviours will follow.
